Shirley, MA Budget Coordinating Committee

Established in May of 2015, the purpose of this committee is to assist the Selectmen and the Finance Committee in its decision process as it relates to information regarding a Proposition 2 1/2 override.

This committee will research and expand upon the work of others through budget projections, past overrides and what the Town truly needs to operate.

The product of the committee will be a short report allowing the Town to look into logical steps to make informed decisions about a proposed override. The expectation is that this work will be accomplished in three (3) months with the provision that an extension of time is possible
