Ashburnham, MA Ashburnham Recreation Committee

On March 7, 2022 the Select Board approved a name change for the committee. We decided to change the name from Parks and Recreation to Ashburnham Community Events and Playgrounds because we learned that parks were broadly defined and in fact did not have jurisdiction over "parks." We do have oversight of the playgrounds, hence adding that to our new name. In addition, we focus more on town events versus recreation, hence the reason of adding "events" to our name.

No meetings of Ashburnham Recreation Committee are currently scheduled.
