Review Minutes from July 9, 2018.  Motion by  , 2nd  all in favor . 
Ratify Library payroll FY18 warrant dated May31, June 14, June 28, 2018.
Ratify Library Expense FY18 warrants dated June 15, July 5, 2018. 
Ratify Library Book FY18 warrants dated May 16, May 30, June 15 and July 5, 2018

18 Common Street:  Security and insurance.  Meeting space for Friends, historical commission and book discussion. (Perhaps other town committees would like to use the meeting room, protocol?) The 40th Anniversary for the Apple Country Fair is this year.  The Friends would like to have a book/tag sale in 18 Common Street (kitchen and barn) as fundraiser and for the curious townspeople to see.  

Outline a needs assessment for library, historical commission and Friends of the Library and other committees such as the lake association, (their records are stored in a private home).  Task to inventory materials /furniture/equipment on 2nd floor of town hall, owned by historical commission.

Draft survey for community to input:
1.	Separate building behind library to meet needs.
2.	An addition to library using only the library lot.
3.	Purchasing adjacent property and use house to meet current needs and future.
Recruit before September meeting adults with school age children to participate in building program.

Security cameras no longer work.  The sudden power outage on August 2 at 1:10 p.m. shut everything down and when power came back on the (outdated) system emits a high consistent screeching sound.  

MBLC ARIS report was submitted August 8. Copy available to peruse.  Circulation of materials went up 3000, from FY17 26,000 to FY18 29,000 items in/out.  Gate count is up by just over 1000 FY18, but Halloween we had 500 trick or treaters!  MBLC Financial report is due in October.
