Ratify Library payroll FY17 warrant dated April 20 and May 4, 2017.  Motion by

Article of the Annual Town Meeting was due Friday, May 5, Brenda submitted the article for $7,400 (architect fees) for the MPPF grant for the front façade of the library.

State Aid to Public Libraries from MBLC has awarded us $2,810.93 in April for a total of $5,486.18 in FY17. 

The Massachusetts Preservation Projects fund application (Round 23) is due March 24, 2017.  The Important Dates — Round 23:
Application deadline: March 24, 2017 submitted on time, MHC sent letter of items missing due by April 12, completed by Brenda and Phillip, and mailed submitted on time.
Award selection: June 14, 2017
Mandatory Awardees LPC Workshop: July 12, 2017
Project end date: June 30, 2018  We meet on the 13th of March a Monday, and the Board of Selectmen sign on March 7, 2017.  Brian Turcotte has an interest in participating on this project and was here Friday, March 3 and Monday, March 6 to review and present a scope of work by Friday, March 10.

Reminder: The Brownies leaders have permission for their 13 Brownies to have a sleepover in the library.  Kate is involved and would be pleased to be the staff member to supervise this overnight of fun.  The program of entertainment will be for the Brownies to make Fairy Houses in our gardens.

It was recommended by Amy Dugas, Quaboag Historical Society to explore historic programs which they will fund.  Brenda has contacted Sam and Julia Grant to perform the Ulysses S. Grant presentation in September.  We had this program in 2007 on the common with great success and attendance over 100.

From BOS:  FYI: For those who were unable to attend the recent anti-harassment training program, Clarence Snyder will offer a follow up session at 6:30 p.m., Wednesday, May 24 in the Banquet Room at the Town Hall.  Brenda attended first program, Tuesday, April 25 with 20 other department heads and staff.

From BOS:  FYI: Selectmen at their 5/2/17 meeting voted to rescind their 4/11/17 vote to adopt a Personal Protective Equipment Policy. Depending upon the outcome of the 6-9-17 TM to fund expenses related to the policy it may be re adopted at a later date.
