Come support your local farmers who offer fruits, vegetables, eggs, meat, wool, honey, hay and more. Brookfield Concerts on the Common: are here again on Friday evenings in July, beginning with Dave Pike and the Good Ol’ Boys Friday, July 5 at 6:30 p.m. The baking competition and pre-show begin at 6 p.m. This week’s baking contest is Patriotic desserts (red, white & blue.) In the event of rain, the festivities will be cancelled. Clowning for Kidz Foundation Annual Poker Run and Family Fun Day Saturday, Aug. 18 at St. Stan’s Polish Club, 144 South St. in West Warren. Registration will begin at 9:30 a.m. with coffee. Poker run is $20 per person; $200 for first place $100 for second and $50 for third.
