Notice of Meeting/Site Visit

In accordance with MGL Ch 82, the Board of Selectmen and Central Massachusetts Regional Planning Commission Adjudicatory Board will hold a site visit at the site of the proposed roadway discontinuance.  The site visit will be at 6:00 pm on Wednesday, June 29, 2011.  The Adjudicatory Board is considering the petition by the Town of Hardwick to discontinue the layout of a portion of Sixth Mass Turnpike.  The Adjudicatory Board will convene at the petitioned location, in the vicinity of #37 Moran Road (Assessor’s Map 125 Lot 1).  


In accordance with MGL Ch 82, the Board of Selectmen and Central Massachusetts Regional Planning Commission Adjudicatory Board will hold a public hearing at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, June 29, 2011 to consider the petition by the Town of Hardwick to discontinue the layout of a portion of Sixth Mass Turnpike, at which time interested parties may be heard.  

It is the intention of the Board of Selectmen that the portion shown as “Moran Road” would become a town way.

The public hearing will be held at the Municipal Offices, 307 Main Street, Gilbertville, MA.  Copies of the plan and petition may be viewed at the offices of the CMRPC, 2 Washington Square, Worcester, MA during regular business hours.
