Shellfish Advisory Committee Agenda for July 19, 2012
Chatham Community Center, Club Room at 4:30
1. Welcome new committee member John Garey.
2. Approve minutes from 6/21/2012.
3. Mussel propagation/Tern Island update from Audubon representatives.
4. OMBY finger dock update and position/opinion for Waterways Advisory Committee and Selectmen.
5. Rescheduling propagation open house for Selectmen, Waterways, ConsCom, and South Harbor committees; General public also?
6. Ryder’s Cove landing update. Renee and I will be attending the Waterways Advisory Committee meeting on July 12th.
7. ARC propagation supply review. Permit fee increase: since only 4 members were present at the last meeting, I think it’s important to have a full committee vote to send a recommendation to the Selectmen about a permit fee increase.
8. 1Year update for Selectmen. I will send you an outline of what we did over the last year. Please make any comments and additions so we don’t have to spend much time on this. I will be making a presentation to the Selectmen on July 24th.
9. Any other issues that committee members may want to discuss may do so here, however, no vote may be taken on these issues at this time. Any issues to be voted on must be published in a future meeting agenda and posted for public assay prior to that SAC meeting.
10.Select next meeting date.
