ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Parking Ban: Annually, on November 15th, the Town's winter parking ban goes into effect and continues through April 1st. The ban is in effect from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m. Vehicles that violate the winter parking ban may be ticketed by the police and receive a $15 fine. Vehicles that directly hamper snow removal efforts will be ticketed and towed at the owner's expense.
Brookfield Toys for Joy: Keep those less fortunate in mind and donate what you can to Brookfields Toys for Joy program. New unwrapped toys are welcome, but monetary donations give us the opportunity to purchase gifts based on specific needs and wants. Please drop off unwrapped toys or clearly marked monetary donations at the Brookfield Fire Station, Town Hall, or library.  
Santa Claus is Coming to Town: Santa will visit the Town Common this Sunday, Dec. 1 at 5 p.m. A performance by the Brookfield Elementary School Carolers will begin at 4:30 p.m. Sponsored by the Cultural Council.
Holiday House Decorating Contest: The Brookfield Cultural Council is sponsoring its annual Holiday House Decorating Contest. Entries must be received by Dec. 12 to the Cultural Council and judging will take place Sunday, Dec. 15 from 5 to 7 p.m. Categories are white lights, multi-colored lights, doorway and unique landscape design. For questions, call 508-867-8080.
