Motion to authorize the Quabbin Regional School District Treasurer, acting under the provisions of Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 71 § 16(g) as amended by Chapter 13, § 4 of the Acts of 1972, and with the approval of the Chairman of the District Committee to borrow money from time to time in anticipation of revenue, for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2020 and to issue a note or notes therefore, payable within one year, and to renew any note or notes as may be given, for a period of less than one year, in accordance with G. L. Ch. 44§ 17.

Motion: To appoint Superintendent Sheila Muir as the Quabbin Regional School District Representative to the FLLAC/Keystone Educational Collaborative Board of Directors for the 2020-2021 school year.

Pursuant to Governor Baker’s March 12, 2020 Order Suspending Certain Provisions of the Open Meeting Law, G.L. c. 30A, §18, https://www.mass.gov/doc/open-meeting-law-order-march-12-2020/download, and the Governor’s March 23, 2020 order imposing strict limitation on the number of people that may gather in one place https://www.mass.gov/news/governor-charlie-baker-orders-all-non-essential-businesses-to-cease-in-person-operation, this meeting of the QRSD School Committee will be conducted via remote participation to the greatest extent possible.
No in-person attendance of members of the public will be permitted, but every effort will be made to ensure that the public can adequately access the proceedings in real time, via Zoom technology. |
