Did we locate that study? Notes from Peter Serafino: “Home City Development commissioned a hydrologic and hydraulic analysis of Amethyst Brook by GZA GeoEnvironmental. The report is not yet final, but the hydraulic modelling result found that the ground elevation near the proposed 22 Amherst Road building (at its northwesterly corner) is approximately 284.5-ft., and that: Based on the modeling results, GZA anticipates that the maximum water surface elevation for the modeled 10-, 50-, 100-, and 500-year recurrence interval floods will be lower than the basement floor of the proposed Building #22. The maximum base flood (100-year) elevations directly adjacent to the proposed building range from 278.6-ft to 278.0-ft. The 500-year WSE is nearest to the proposed structure, reaching 277.5-ft in elevation at station 1+90, about 7-ft lower than ground level at the northwesterly corner.” Recommendations for future agenda items: Tom Fanning is inviting you to a scheduled Zoom meeting.
