Information for Meeting of Shellfish Advisory Committee

for the Shellfish Advisory Committee meeting to be held on Tuesday October 8, 2019 in the Small Meeting Room at the Town Annex at 4:00.
1. Executive Session – Update on Monomoy Refuge
a. Roll call vote to enter into Executive Session
b. Executive Session – MGL Ch. 30A, Section 21 #3 – To discuss strategy with respect to threatened litigation regarding Monomoy Refuge, and the Chair declares that an open meeting may have a detrimental effect on the litigating position of the Town with return to open session.

2. Meeting recording announcement/turn off cell phones.
3. Forum. If anyone from the shellfishing community or public wishes to make any constructive comments or express concerns with the shellfishing industry, habitat, or shellfish in general, or request a future agenda item, they may do so now. The Chair will use discretion over length and content of comments.
4. Review of minutes.
5. Update on upweller:  Rachel Hutchinson.
6. Update; MSI and H.746 And Act relative to aquaculture licenses.
7. Department update.
8. Agenda items: Any other items the committee may want to discuss briefly or wish to have added to a future meeting. Any item needing a vote must be postponed to a future meeting and posted as an agenda topic 48 hours prior to a scheduled meeting as prescribed under Mass. Open Meeting Law.
9. Set meeting date.
10. Adjourn.
