ARTICLE : To see if the Town will vote to authorize the Board of Selectmen and/or the Library Board of Trustees to exercise an option, and to acquire, by gift, purchase or eminent domain, certain real property, and the improvements thereon, commonly known as 18 Common Street, Brookfield, described in a deed recorded with the Worcester South Registry of Deeds in Book 17143, Page 134, upon such terms and conditions as the Board of Selectmen and/or the Library Board of Trustees shall determine to be appropriate; and further to raise and appropriate, transfer from available funds, or borrow, the sum of Two Hundred Forty-Nine Thousand ($249,000.00) Dollars; and further to authorize the Board of Selectmen and/or the Library Board of Trustees to execute any and all documents to carry out the intent of this Article, or take any action relative thereto.
