Call meeting to order 6:30 p.m.
ATTENDANCE: Sally Brown (SB) , Barbara Clancy (BC), Barbara Steadman (BLS) , Jerry Rudzinski (JR), Matt Bansfield (MB) , Carol Plumb (CP) , Brenda Metterville (B) .
Quorum needed 4 Trustees.
Review, edit minutes from, Monday, March 14, 2016, motion by , 2nd , all in favor.
Ratify Library payroll FY16 warrant dated, March 24, and April 7, 2016. Motion by, 2nd , all in favor.
Ratify Library Expense FY16 warrant dated, March 29, 2016. Motion by MB, 2nd BC, all in favor, aye.
Ratify Library Book FY16 warrant dated, March 15 and March 17, 2016. Motion by BLS, SB, all in favor.
OLD BUSINESS:
We have received Don Hayward’s estimate for the window restoration. A copy of the estimate is available for perusal. Dave Cole will send an estimate by the 18th of March. We are waiting for Peter Hamm’s estimate.
Matt continues to work on upgrading the lighting to as few watts as possible. We should be calling electricians to install one switch for each side of the gallery to put the lighting on and off.
The fence on the corner of properties owned by the library (2 Lincoln Street), (Common Street) Heller and (4 Lincoln Street) Holdcraft is being removed due to rotting and falling over onto library property. We have learned the fence belongs to Rudy and Sarah Heller. The work was being completed by Arthur, library Custodian.
The Robert Wilder, Sr. historic collection is being introduced to the library.
NEW BUSINESS:
We have not heard from Peter Hamm for the estimate. Don Hayward is looking to schedule us if we pick him (his schedule is filling up).
Draft of Policy for Copyright Notice to adopt: for printer and copier with limits for making copies for each public equipment.
State Aid edits with the MBLC. Last check from MBLC for State Aid: $ 2,776.61 Total aid received FY16, $5373.22.
