1: The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m.
2: RFP – Request For Proposal
a) The Energy Committee discussed a RFP in regards to the future prospect of a five
kilowatt solar power at the landfill. The construction of which would utilize about thirty
acres of land. The Energy Commitee agrees that the select board should move to put out an
RFP.
b) Paul Duffin motioned this, Bobbie Newman seconded his motion, unanimous approval
among all members present.
3: New Business
a) A motion was made to hold the next meeting for the Energy Committee on January 8th,
2019. Bobbie Newman seconded this motion, unanimous approval among all members
present.
b) The Energy Committee discussed the lineup for next year's energy provider for the town.
a conversation ensued about the current provider, Constellation; and the possibility of using
an alternative energy company, Solarized Mass. Richard Brown concluded this discussion
by agreeing to speak with Bob Michard from Orange about their ongoing experiences with
Solarized Mass, who is their current provider.
4: At 8:00 Bobbie Newman moved to adjourn the meeting, Paul Duffin seconded, unanimous
approval among all members present.
