The Shellfish Advisory Committee evaluates the best means to develop the shellfish potential of the Town by promoting a sustainable resource through propagation, sound management, and by supporting efforts to preserve and protect shellfish habitat.
Agenda for the Shellfish Advisory Committee meeting to be held on Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at Chatham Town Offices, Ground Floor Small Meeting Room, Annex, 261 George Ryder Road, Chatham, MA 02633 at 8:00 A.M. EST.
1. Meeting recording announcement/turn off cell phones
2. Forum. If anyone from the shellfishing community or public wishes to make any constructive comments or express concerns with the shellfishing industry, habitat, or shellfish in general, or request a future agenda item, they may do so now. The Chair will use discretion over length and content of comments.
3. Review Outstanding SAC Minutes
4. Review for Approval: Chatham Waterways Regulations
5. Ryder’s Cove Infrastructure Plans
6. Review of Stage Harbor dredging proposal: 86 Stage Island Road
7. Shellfish Department Update
8. Agenda items: Any other items the committee may want to discuss briefly or wish to have added to a future meeting. Any item needing a vote must be postponed to a future meeting and posted as and agenda topic 48 hours prior to a scheduled meeting as prescribed under MA Open Meeting Law.
9. Set meeting date.
