2. Group photo taken but several members missing: another possible date to include all or most volunteers?
3. New DBC officers. Treasurer, Linda Merry and Vice Chairperson, Tracy Cahalan. Linda introduced to Highway Department Secretary, Heather Hunt. Also, Linda was given a hard copy of DBC's finances, plant order from spring 2017and tax exempt number for any ongoing DBC purchases. Deb Merry informed of these two additional office holders.
4. Additional safety cones [3] obtained from the Town Highway Department for Linda and Bob to have on hand as a safety measure if working before other members arrive for scheduled maintenance.
5. Dalton Fire Department asked to water several times due to hot sun, warm temperatures as soil was quite dry on Tuesday when volunteers did maintenance. John and Annmarie watered 707 site Tuesday afternoon [25 Septemberl.
6. Median garden design suggestions for spring 2018: fewer Blue Victoria salvia and more Osteospermum.
7. Winterize gardens scheduled for 10 October, unless a hard frost dictates removal earlier.
8. Note of appreciation received from Angela for DBC's note to her following recent knee surgery.
9. Lenita Burber will be asked to plant more of the new purple/white petunia variety for DBC spring order. 10. Suggestions for South Street spring/summer shared watering schedule Library. Bridge baskets.
