EXECUTIVE SESSION

G.L. c. 30A, sec. 21(a)(2)  - To conduct strategy sessions in preparation for negotiations with nonunion personnel or to conduct collective bargaining sessions or contract negotiations with nonunion personnel. Specifically to meet with police union personnel to discuss pending grievances/Arbitration involving union member (Cromwell)

G.L. c. 30A, sec. 21(a)(3)  - To discuss strategy with respect to collective bargaining or litigation if an open meeting may have a detrimental effect on the government’s bargaining or litigating position. Also, to conduct strategy sessions in preparation for negotiations with non-union personnel; to actually conduct collective bargaining and contract negotiations with non-union personnel. Specifically to discuss (Cromwell vs. Town MCAD No. 16BEM00653)
