Pursuant to Governor Baker’s March 12, 2020 Order Suspending Certain Provisions of the Open Meeting Law, G.L. c. 30A, §18, and the Governor’s March 15, 2020 Order imposing strict limitation on the number of people that may gather in one place, this meeting will be conducted via remote participation to the greatest extent possible. Specific information and the general guidelines for remote participation by members of the public and/or parties with a right and/or requirement to attend this meeting can be found on the town’s website, at www.essexma.org. For this meeting, members of the public who wish to listen to the meeting may do so via Conference Call.  No in-person attendance of members of the public will be permitted, but every effort will be made to ensure that the public can adequately access the proceedings in real time, via technological means. In the event that we are unable to do so, despite best efforts, we will post on the town’s website an audio or video recording, transcript, or other comprehensive record of proceedings as soon as possible after the meeting. •	Public Hearing for Route 133 Bridge Replacement Over Essex River
•	Public Safety Building Construction Project Update
•	Change Order:  Replacement of Public Safety Building Oil/Water Separator
•	Change Order:  Public Safety Building Painting of Ceilings Credit
•	Change Order:  Modifications to Public Safety Building Steel Fabrication
•	Change Order:  Deletion of Priming for Public Safety Building Unexposed Steel
•	Change Order:  Public Safety Building Duct Bank Changes

	Approve the weekly warrant in the amount of $.
	Vote to exempt from Section 20 of Chapter 268A of the General Laws, the contracts and amounts for the individuals listed below contained within the 5/28/2020 warrant pursuant to subsection (d) of said Section.

	Approve the minutes for the Selectmen’s May 18, 2020, Open Meeting.
	Vote to approve a request by the Department of Public Works to transfer $13,328 from various accounts to fiscal FY2021. Sign the request.
	Vote to accept the donation of a chest freezer to the Senior Center.
	Consider the Board of Health’s request to carry over some vacation time for the Board of Health Administrator.
	Possible purchase of new voting equipment.
	Consider placing “residents-only” parking signs at the end of Water Street.
	Discussion regarding Manchester Essex Little League use of Memorial Park and the Field of Dreams.
	Discussion regarding the opening of Centennial Grove to residents again.
	Discuss a plan by the Massachusetts Oyster Project, as approved by the Division of Marine Fisheries, to introduce oysters into Essex Bay.
	Ratification of the granting of an easement for a new utility pole to serve the new public safety building at 11 John Wise Avenue.
	Vote to ratify the approval of an engagement letter between the Town and Clifton Larson LLP for audit services.
	Possibly sign engagement letter with Clifton Larson Allen for grant-funded assistance with CARES Act funding that has been earmarked for the Town.
	Continued discussion as to whether any changes to parking or launching restrictions that have been put in place due to the ongoing COVID-19 crisis be altered in any way.
	Approve the Town’s participation in a regional CDBG grant being coordinated by the Metropolitan Area Planning Council for possible microbusiness (5 or less employees) COVID-19 recovery grants.
	Consider limiting the physical attendance at the Board of Selectmen’s meetings to the Board of Selectmen, their Assistant, and the Town Administrator until further notice.
	Consider an email asking about moving restaurant seating outdoors temporarily.
	Items that could not be reasonably anticipated by the Open Meeting Law posting deadline.
	
REMINDERS:
	The Annual Town Meeting will be held on Saturday, June 13, 2020, starting at 10:00 a.m., at the Essex Elementary School on Story Street.
	The next regular Board of Selectmen’s meeting will take place on Monday, June 15, 2020, at 6:00 p.m. in the 2nd Floor Stage Conference Area of the Town Hall, 30 Martin Street.
