Plan Purpose and Requirements Opportunity to plan for open space preservation and recreational opportunities. Update 2010 plan, revise goals and objectives, action plan, involve the community in this process (through survey and forum). Allows the town to apply for LAND and PARC grants from DCS. Project Team Roles and Responsibilities CMRPC – Prepare the plan, including obtaining all relevant data, as well as the survey, and presentation and handouts for the forum. Analyze and summarize input from the survey and forum, and incorporate the feedback and input from the committee in the development of the goals, objectives, and action plan. TOWN – ADA self-evaluation. o OSRP requirements include completion of Section 504 Americans with Disability Act (ADA) Self-Evaluation for all conservation and recreation facilities owned or operated by the municipality as well. Put together committee that meets 3-7 times, and provides feedback on the draft plan. Provide photographs and assist with compiling inventory of open space parcels, as well as providing any other information we may need (historic sites, growth and development, etc.) Acquire Planning Board, Board of Selectmen and other letters of endorsement, as appropriate; Organize and promote participation in the community forum; and Promote survey participation 4.
