Call meeting to order 6:32 p.m.

Quorum needed 4 Trustees.
Review, edit minutes from, Monday, July 25, 2016, motion by 2nd all in favor.
Ratify Library payroll FY17 warrant dated July 28, August 11, 25 and September 8, 2016. Motion by 2nd , all in favor.
Ratify Library Expense FY17 warrant dated, August 2, 12, 2016. Motion by, all in favor.
Ratify Library Book FY17 warrant dated August 2, 19 and 31, 2016. Motion by 2nd , all in favor.
Old business:
Brenda has heard from Brian Turcotte, regarding the continuation of the masonry project he began last September. He will be back at the end of September to complete his proposed, and our approved work. We have $23, 547. in the Building Maintenance account; this includes completing the ramp door, the pulpit window, and replacing plexi-glass to tempered glass, on the front of the building.
Matt will present an estimate for the door and window repairs. Glenn D’Alessio estimate is $2250. Ken Paulsen submitted an estimate of $6500, and D. Hayward Restoration $6450 (to replace/jamb, frame and restore window). The Trustees approved Glenn D’Alessio.
Fix ramp door estimate #3 is $2500 from Glenn D’Alessio. Dave Cole estimate for ramp door was $4995.00, and Lenny St. Marten $4250. Motion SB, BLS 2nd to hire Glenn D’Alessio to perform work on ramp door. Motion by MB, 2nd BC to contract for the work on the window. Ramp door will be done by November and window will be done by June 2017.
New Business:
Mass Historical Preservation grant to apply for FY18? To restore gargoyle, Brenda will begin calling for estimates. Brenda will ask Brian for the first estimate when he is here at the end of September. Other work to be done, Fran White recommended barrier door to room with furnaces and dehumidifier, should we ask Arthur to complete this project?
Brenda has drafted Emergency Procedures and will be working with Chief Blanchard on editing and training staff and Trustees. Chief Blanchard has the draft now. We will follow up with this policy in October.
Brenda has submitted a Jeppson Grant to assist in the funding of the Music Program, $2500.
Brenda has applied to the Massachusetts Humanities for a free display on the Bill of Rights for December commemorating the anniversary.
