Ratify Expense warrant dated, February 4, 2015. Motion, 2nd, all in favor.
Ratify Books warrant dated, February 4, February 18, 2015. Motion, 2nd by, all in favor.
Photographs of damage to the gallery non-fiction side (ramp side of the building). It appears we have an ice dam on this section of the roof which has cracked the plaster under two windows with leaks running down the wall in two of the non-fiction sections. Should the insurance company be notified now? Larry Joseph is our contact person for insurance. Photographs include the exterior and interior of building.
Brenda has been informed certain new town hall employees will be receiving a $1.00 an hour raise: Custodian, less than a year 11.00 to 12.00—Our custodian earns 11.22, Clerk for less than a year, 12.00 hour to 13.00, our Library Assistants, less than 12.50. Discuss how to approach Advisory Board and increases for staff. What percentage?

Hi Beth and fellow Advisory Board members,
It has come to the Board of Trustees and Library Directors attention certain new Town Hall employees may be receiving an interesting increase in salary...Town Hall Custodian, $11.00 to $12.00, our Custodian earns $11.41, he started at $11/hour and was hired 5 years ago. A Town Hall Clerk, $12.00 to $13.00, our "new" Library Assistants, hired 4 years ago earn $12.85 per hour.
All Departments in Brookfield have been handed less than 2% increases in salaries for a number of years. We are hopeful wage increases will be awarded in a fair and equitable manner across all Departments. Another point for clarification, no employee at the library has received a merit raise in ten years.
Conflict of Interest certification, Matt did you complete your test and print certificate?
