Agenda: | TOWN OF CHATHAM ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS LEGAL NOTICE The Chatham Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a public hearing on Thursday, October 16, 2014, starting at 3:00 PM in the Town Annex Large Meeting Room, 261 George Ryder Road, on the following appeals: Appeal No. 14-070: Cumberland Farms, Inc., c/o E. James Veara, Esq. 828 Main Street, Box 2031, Dennis, MA 02638, owner of property located at 678 and 686 Main Street, also shown on the Town of Chatham’s Assessors’ Map 14E, Block 49, Lot 28 and Map 14E, Block 49, Lot 28A. The appellant seeks to demolish the existing structures and rebuild a 3,806 square foot formula business convenience store with 1,728 square feet of floor area devoted to customer use or display area, and three fuel dispensers with a proposed 83 foot by 24.5 foot canopy and concrete slab. The Zoning District is GB2 with a small portion to the north in R-20. The lot(s) contain 43,327 square feet where 7,000 square feet are required. As a Gasoline Station Formula Business, a Special Permit is required under Section V.B., of the Chatham Protective Bylaw.
