  PUBLIC HEARINGS 
A-In accordance with Ch.40A, Sec.11 of Mass. General Laws, the Planning Board will hold a Public Hearing in the Common Room of the Orange Armory at 135 East Main Street, Orange, MA on Tuesday May 1st, 2018 beginning at 6:30pm regarding a special permit request for 5 East River Street (Map 110, Lot 15) by Gary Moise of 69 Mayo Road, Orange, Massachusetts for a change of use to convert existing space into a one- bedroom house. The application may be in the Community Development Office at the Orange Armory during the normal business hours of M,T,Th: 8:00-12:30 & 1:00-4:30; W: 8:00-12:00 & 1:00-7:00. 
B--In accordance with Ch.40A, Sec.11 of Mass. General Laws, the Planning Board will hold a Public Hearing in the Common Room of the Orange Armory at 135 East Main Street, Orange, MA on Tuesday may 1st, 2018 beginning at 7:00pm regarding a special permit request for 181 East Main Street (Map 111, Lot 4) by Jon Sterusky of 11 Horton Road, Orange, Massachusetts to buy, sell and repair automobiles. The application may be in the Community Development Office at the Orange Armory during the normal business hours of M,T,Th: 8:00-12:30 & 1:00-4:30; W: 8:00-12:00 & 1:00-7:00.

a.	Review of special permit submitted 4/18/18 with the Town Clerk for Applicant Ralph Carpenter of 115 Fryeville Road, Orange, MA
b.	Discussion of scheduling of Devon Ward, Bohler Engineering project presentation before the Planning Board
c.	Discussion of upcoming solar interest and scheduling of appointments for the following projects who wish to come before the board: Peter Mcauliffe OmniNavitas Holdings LLC, Chris McCarthy of Sun Power, Harsh Sanghavi of Solar on Earth, and other companies who have expressed interest in projects in Orange.
d.	Discussion of RW Moore Modifications to Special Permit
e.	Discussion of solar moratorium article to allow time for Planning Board and Town to decide how Solar best fits into long term plan for the Town and address issues of types of use, size, location, etc. 
f.	Discussion of zoning bylaw article to allow wording change to allow for electronic copies of permits to be submitted. 
g.	Update to Board regarding concerns from Town Businesses as it relates to Retail marijuana in Town-Rodney Hunt Owner
h.	Community Development Director Update- Adrienne Menges
i.	Any issue not known to the chair prior to posting that is permissible by law to discuss.
