Information for Meeting of North Middlesex Area Emergency Planning Committee

The next meeting of the NMAEPC will be held on Tuesday July 8, 2014 at 9:30 AM. The meeting will be held at the Groton EOC in the Groton Police Station 99 Pleasant Street. The Town Clerks are asked to post this Meeting Notice and Agenda. The meeting will be preceded by a light breakfast at 9:00 AM.  The topic for this meeting will be a presentation by Victor L’Esperance, Manager, Security and Emergency Planning, for the Massachusetts Water Resource Authority. This presentation will be a talk and discussion about the Emergency Action Plan for the Wachusett Reservoir Dam located in Clinton, and the responsibilities of various community functions that would be involved directly or on a mutual aid basis it were necessary to exercise the plan. Members are requested to reply to this Email with an indication if they are planning to attend. As this Action Plan is labeled as “Confidential” by the MWRA the discussion portion of the meeting will be held in Executive Session with attendance being limited to those from each community or associated function that would be involved in incident planning and preparedness.
