| Agenda: | Worcester Regional Transit Authority Open Meeting for the public regarding proposed service changes. The proposed changes would take effect August 23, 2014. The proposed changes to be discussed include: Creating a new service (Route 9) and interlining it with Route 31. The elimination of Route 11A Resuming Route 18 Eliminating the interlining of Route 25 and Route 31. Route 11A is proposed for total elimination due to low ridership. Route 18 would resume as summer changes will be over. Elimination of the interlining between Route 25 and 31 is due to the placement of an electric bus on Route 25. New service would increase frequency to every ½ hour from the hub down Pleasant Street to Newton Square (which was lost when route 2 went to every hour) this service, called Route 9 would then continue to Worcester State University. |
