Call meeting to order at 6:30 p.m.

 Review  Minutes from March 5, 2018.  Motion by, 2nd  all in favor approved. 
Ratify Library payroll FY18 warrant dated March 8, March 22 and April 5, 2018.
Ratify Library Expense FY18 warrants dated March 8 and March 28, 2018. 
Ratify Library Book FY18 warrants dated March 31, 2018 
Motion by  and   2nd , all voted to approve.
Special Town Meeting will take place Friday, June 15 for FY18 at 6:30 p.m.  Articles for the warrant are due by Thursday, May 31 at 3:00 p.m.  Articles for the Annual Town Meeting are due by April 30, 2018.  Brenda has prepared drafts for both STM and ATM.  The article for the lease on 18 Common Street is for $16,500 (original cost was to be $1500 per month at $18,000, price reduced to $1375 per month).  Brenda submitted a request for Municipal Transfer for $1000 on March 21.
Brenda and Matt met with CIPC and had a supportive response on purchase of property.  Brenda met with the Advisory Board and received a supportive response on the purchase of the property.  The Friends of the Library have paid Maria Hopkins $400 for an appraisal of the property.  Maria recommended Bruce Plante for Home Inspection Services, Matt will schedule soon.  Brenda submitted letter to Historical Commission regarding a small increase in the budget for operating costs for 18 Common Street.
Peter O’Connell is submitting to the BOS for permission, a submission to Senator Gobi’s office for Capital Project Requests for infrastructure projects, $250,000.   Friends of the Library $35,000.
Discussion May meeting, to invite the public to hear about our plans for this municipal purchase, and outreach for new members to join the Friends of the Library and assist in the launch of a Capital Campaign Fundraising towards expenses for operating, architectural fees, etc.
