Objective 1: Survey Update
- Update on results – 104 responses as of 8/17!
o 3% of population = 165 responses
- Advertising
Objective 2: Initial Goals Discussion
- Goals are general concepts used to structure plan and communicate vision.
- Objectives are concrete ideas for accomplishing goals within certain time frames.
- Actions are specific activities that achieve the objectives.
- The OSRP action plan will include goals, objectives and actions.
- Goals need take public feedback into account.
2014 Goals:
1. Protect open spaces.
2. Preserve rural character through community growth management that will enable more sensitive
land development.
3. Protect water resources.
4. Increased community information and involvement.
5. Develop and improve Town recreation facilities.
6. Promote eco-tourism.
