•	Review of Preliminary Draft of Fall Town Meeting Warrant
•	Renewal of Parking and Pedestrian Licenses at Village Restaurant
•	Engagement of Subject Matter Experts, Local Rapid Recovery Grant
•	Award of Community Compact Grant for Zoning Bylaw Study

•	Approve the minutes for the Selectmen’s August 23, 2021, Open Meeting.
•	Approve and sign a proclamation naming this year’s Small Business Person of the year in Essex. Decide who will present the award on Thursday, September 23, 2021, 5-7pm, at Woodman’s.
•	Vote to ratify the approval of a letter from Chairman Pereen authorizing the release of CDBG microenterprise 2020 grant funds initially assigned to Essex that are unspent to the consortium of all 23 communities to be used by any of the communities in future rounds.
•	Review the 2020 census packet and vote on whether or not to remain a single precinct for election purposes, vote to adopt the 2020 Precinct Map and census data report, and affirm the official Town Boundary description. 
•	Formal approval of the Board’s conceptual approval on August 23, 2021, regarding replacement of a building at 159 Conomo Point Road, Map 108, Lot 39.
•	Consider a request from the Essex Shipbuilding Museum and Historical Society to display a traveling exhibit from the Smithsonian Institution in the Town Hall Auditorium regarding shipbuilding history.
•	Consider an offer to donate a tree to replace the old “Memory Tree” that was cut down during the Town Hall renovation, somewhere on Town property in the downtown area.
•	Items that could not be reasonably anticipated by the Open Meeting Law posting deadline.

LICENSES:
	One-Day Entertainment License:
•	Essex Historical Society & Shipbuilding Museum, for use on Monday, September 27, 2021, between the hours of 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m., featuring acoustic music from the Music Asylum Music School. 
Commercial Shellfish Permit:
•	Joshua Hannah

•	The next regular Board of Selectmen’s meeting will take place on Monday, September 27, 2021, at 6:00 p.m. in the 2nd Floor Stage Conference Area at the Town Hall at 30 Martin Street.
