Call meeting to order at 6:30 p.m.

Friends of the Library planned fundraisers: May--Silent Auction, June--Book and yard sale, June –Birds of Prey program in barn, entrance fee.
Survey is being copied for the March Citizen (we are doing in-house copying to save money), this will be due February 20.
Discussion to decide clear authority over property, 18 Common Street once purchased and responsibilities, including but not limited to annual operating budget, key holders (key holders of the Felton House are the Board of Trustees, staff of the library, and Historical Commission members as approved by Board of Trustees), use of building, scheduling responsibilities, policies. Current key holders are Matt Bansfield (Trustee), Margaret Aubin (Custodian), Carol Plumb (Trustee, Historical Commission & Community Club), Library staff, Brenda Metterville (Library Director).
Don and Brenda worked Friday, February 1 to set up work area in kitchen for Don to process and record historical commission materials. Equipment, computer and scanner for slides in office (kitchen). Matt set up computer with wireless, laser printer doesn’t work with computer—will be put in the “take it or leave it”).

Ratify Library Utilities (Nat. Grid gas), July 12, 2018 to January 15, 2019.
Ratify Library State Aid for 18 Common Street, July 12, 2018 to January 15, 2019.
Ratify Library Book FY19 warrants dated January 29, 2019.

FY2020 Budget was due to Advisory Board by January 31. Brenda met with Ken Cleveland, our liaison from the Advisory Board, on Friday, February 2, 2019. Brenda submitted a request of $2000 increase to the Book account and level funded all the other lines in our budget. We do not have a percentage amount for salary increases. Supporting documents given to Ken for how we operate; last year’s State Aid reports (with formula for entire budget and book budget calculations), Friends report, Circulation report, and State Aid account for operating costs for the Felton house.
Annual notice to all Municipalities regarding Conflict of Interest Laws, some certificates are completed. We have until the April
5 deadline to complete and submit to Town Clerk, Mike Seery.
