	Approve the minutes for the Selectmen’s October 16, 2018, Open Meeting and Executive Session.
	Vote to ratify the approval and submittal of the State Emergency Management Performance Grant in the amount of $2,460.00.
	Approve contracts for interior work within the Police Station concerning a new prisoner processing area and for the acquisition of a shipping container to serve as an exterior evidence and property room.

	Discuss possibility of regionalizing certain services and equipment with the Town of Manchester and to possibly apply for a community compact with the Commonwealth related to the promotion of government efficiency through regionalization. Topics to be discussed jointly with the Manchester Board of Selectmen on November 19, 2018.
	Review a request from Rich Morrell to pass over Essex roads during their 4th Annual YuKanRun Road Race on May 11, 2019, from 9 a.m. to 12 noon.

	Items that could not be reasonably anticipated by the Open Meeting Law posting deadline.

LICENSING:  Review a revised and amended application for a transfer of license for the Village Restaurant, 55 Main Street (if documents are received by meeting time).

REMINDERS:
•	The next regular Board of Selectmen’s meeting will take place on Monday, November 5, 2018, at 6:00 p.m. in the 2nd Floor Stage Conference Room at the Essex Town Hall.
•	November 19, 2018 at 7:30 p.m. at the Manchester Town Hall, Room 5, 10 Central Street:  Joint meeting of the Manchester and Essex Boards of Selectmen.

EXECUTIVE SESSION: 
	Discuss litigation strategy with respect to legal suit: Drinkwater, as Trustee of the Drinkwater Essex Realty Trust v. Town of Essex, Land Court Civil Action No.  18-MISC-000391.
