Review Minutes from June 11, 2018. Motion by , all in favor .
Ratify Library payroll FY18 warrant dated May31, June 14, June 28, 2018.
Ratify Library Expense FY18 warrants dated June 15, July 5, 2018.
Ratify Library Book FY18 warrants dated May 16, May 30, June 15 and July 5, 2018
Motion by , all voted in favor .
The Hellers have sent edits requested from their lawyer for the lease agreement. It was suggested the start date be July 15, 2018. We should have a copy of the edited lease by tonight to sign and then submit to the Board of Selectmen.
TO DO LIST: (not necessarily in this order and not everything we need to do)
• Building Committee; 3 Trustees, 3 historical commission members, Beth Coughlin, etc.
• Update Needs Assessments for library and historical commission.
• Structural Engineer, Building Inspector
• Massachusetts Historical Commission—process of historic registered property of going from private to commercial.
• Theme—preservation of historic Brookfield buildings
• Lead paint.
• Security.
• Calendar of events or create a timeline with deadlines to accomplish tasks.
Discuss what important projects need to be completed in this fiscal year.
Dana Steadman sent his opinions and thoughts on the adjacent property.
The Friends need to initiate a Capital Campaign. The Friends of the Library have donated $8,250 to assist with the lease of the 18 Common Street. Michelle Taylor is the appointed Treasurer for the Friends.
