B.PUBLIC HEARINGS 
The Town of Orange Planning Board will hold a public hearing pursuant to Mass G.L. c.40A, §5 on June 12, 2018 at the Orange Armory, 135 East Main Street, Orange, MA 01364 at 7:15 p.m. to consider an amendment to the Town of Orange Zoning Bylaws for the purpose of regulating Large-Scale Ground-Mounted Solar Voltaic Systems by imposing a temporary moratorium on such uses in the Town until the adjournment of business at the Annual Town Meeting in June, 2019.  The purpose of this temporary moratorium is to allow sufficient time to engage in a planning process to address the effects of such structures and uses on the Town and to enact bylaws in a manner consistent with sound land use planning goals and objectives.  
Also, to consider an amendment to the Town of Orange Zoning Bylaws for the purpose of changing the application submittal requirements for the following sections: 4600 Performance Standards; 5400 Site Plan Review; and 5713 Procedures, to allow for one electronic copy submittal and to reduce total number of paper copy submittals.
