ARTICLE 3. To see if the District will vote to raise and appropriate a sum of money for the Administration of the District for fiscal year 2020 from water user fees and District taxes or to take any other action in relation thereto.
ARTICLE 4. To see if the District will vote to raise and appropriate a sum of money for the Administration Reserve for Contingencies Account for fiscal year 2020 from water user fees and District taxes or to take any other action in relation thereto.
ARTICLE 5. To see if the District will vote to raise and appropriate a sum of money for GASB 45 report in fiscal year 2020 from water user fees and District taxes or to take any other action in relation thereto.
ARTICLE 6. To see if the District will vote to raise and appropriate a sum of money for an audit of the District for the period ending June 30, 2019 in fiscal year 2020 from water user fees and District taxes or to take any other action in relation thereto.
ARTICLE 7. To see if the District will vote to raise and appropriate a sum of money for the Other Post Employment Benefit Account fiscal year 2020 from water user fees and District taxes or to take any other action in relation thereto.
ARTICLE 8. To see if the District will vote to raise and appropriate a sum of money for the operation of the Water Department for fiscal year 2020 from water user fees or to take any other action in relation thereto.
ARTICLE 9. To see if the District will vote to raise a sum of money to pay the Principal and Interest of the District Loans, Water Department, for fiscal year 2020 from water user fees and to transfer a sum of money from Reservoir Road Capital Project or to take any other action in relation thereto.
ARTICLE 10. To see if the District will vote to raise and appropriate a sum of money for the Water Department Reserve for Contingencies Account for fiscal year 2020 from water user fees or to take any other action in relation thereto.
ARTICLE 11. To see if the District will vote to raise and appropriate a sum of money for the Water Bills Account for fiscal year 2020 from water user fees or to take any other action in relation thereto.
ARTICLE 12. To see if the District will vote to raise and appropriate a sum of money for the Water Main Improvement Account for fiscal year 2020 from water user fees or to take any other action in relation thereto.
ARTICLE 13. To see if the District will vote to raise and appropriate a sum of money for the Scada System Upgrade for fiscal year 2020 from water user fees and water available surplus or to take any other action in relation thereto.
ARTICLE 14. To see if the District will vote to raise and appropriate a sum of money for the Roof Replacement and Repair Account for fiscal year 2020 from water user fees or to take any other action in relation thereto.
ARTICLE 15. To see if the District will vote to raise and appropriate a sum of money for the New Utility Truck for fiscal year 2020 from water available surplus or to take any other action in relation thereto.
ARTICLE 16. To see if the District will vote to raise and appropriate a sum of money for the Excavator and Trailer for fiscal year 2020 from water available surplus or to take any other action in relation thereto.
ARTICLE 17. To see if the District will vote to appropriate a sum of money to fund the Timber Maintenance Account for fiscal year 2020 from estimated receipts or to take any other action in relation thereto.
ARTICLE 18. To see if the District will vote to raise and appropriate a sum of money for the operation of the Fire Department for fiscal year 2020 from District taxes or to take any other action in relation thereto.
ARTICLE 19. To see if the District will vote to raise and appropriate a sum of money for the Town of Dalton support fee for fiscal year 2020 from District taxes or to take any other action in relation thereto.
ARTICLE 20. To see if the District will vote to raise and appropriate a sum of money for the Town of Dalton dispatch fee for fiscal year 2020 from District taxes or to take any other action in relation thereto.
ARTICLE 21. To see if the District will vote to raise and appropriate a sum of money for the Fire Department Reserve for Contingencies Account for fiscal year 2020 from District taxes or to take any other action in relation thereto.
ARTICLE 22. To see if the District will vote to raise and appropriate a sum of money to pay on the principle of the Rescue Pumper Truck, fiscal year 2020 from District taxes or to take any other action in relation thereto.
ARTICLE 23. To see if the District will vote to amend the amount of the borrowing approved by the District under Article 17 of the Warrant at the Annual District Meeting held on May 15, 2018 for the purpose of purchasing a rescue pumper truck, by reducing that amount to $440,000, or to take any other action relative thereto.
ARTICLE 24. To see if the District will vote to appropriate a sum of money for Floor Drain Replacement within the fire station in fiscal year 2020 from District taxes or to take any other action in relation thereto.
ARTICLE 25. To see if the District will vote to appropriate a sum of money for a fire station maintenance and repairs in fiscal year 2020 and to meet that appropriation, transfer from free cash or to take any other action in relation thereto
ARTICLE 26. To see if the District will vote to appropriate a sum of money for a telephone system at the fire station in fiscal year 2020 and to meet that appropriation, transfer from free cash or to take any other action in relation thereto
ARTICLE 27. To see if the District will vote to appropriate a sum of money for the purchase of Rescue Tool Package in fiscal year 2020 and to meet that appropriation, transfer from free cash or to take any other action in relation thereto
ARTICLE 28. To see if the District will vote to raise and appropriate a sum of money for a 50% DCR Grant match for forest fighting equipment in fiscal year 2020 from District taxes or to take any other action in relation thereto.
ARTICLE 29. To see if the District will vote to raise and appropriate a sum of money for a 5% Federal AFG Grant match for fiscal year 2020 from District taxes or to take any other action in relation thereto.
ARTICLE 30. To see if the District will vote to rescind the authorized but unissued portion of the
following borrowings approved by the District for various capital purposes, which balances are no longer needed to complete the projects for which they were authorized:
• $986,000 of the vote taken on July 10, 2007, under Article 2, for the purpose of constructing improvements at the South Street Water Tank;
• $20,413 of the vote taken on September 12, 2007, under Article 1, for the purpose of constructing improvements at the District Fire Station;
• $480,000 of the vote taken on July 22, 2008, under Article 1, for the purpose of constructing repairs at the Windsor Dam;
• $295,430 of the vote taken on May 13, 2014, under Article 20, for the purpose of constructing improvements at the Reservoir Road Water Tank; and
• $116,000 of the vote taken on November 18, 2015, under Article 1, for the purpose of constructing improvements at the Reservoir Road Water Tank;
or to take any other action relative thereto.
ARTICLE 31. To choose and Elect the following Officers of the District:
One member of the Prudential Committee for 3 years.
One member of the Board of Water Commissioners for 3 years.
One Auditor of the District for 1 year.
One Moderator of the District for 1 year. |
