Review minutes from Monday, November 14, 2022. Motion to accept by 2nd, all in favor.
Ratify Library Payroll warrants FY23 November 24, December 1, 8 and 22, 2022 and January 5, 2023.
Ratify Library Expense FY23 November 24, December 1, 8 and 22, 2022 and January 5, 2023.
Ratify Library Utilities FY23 November 24, December 1, 8 and 22, 2022 and January 5, 2023.
Ratify 18 Common Street Expenses FY23 November 24, December 1, 8 and 22, 2022 and January 5, 2023.
Ratify Library Books warrants dated FY23 November 24, December 1, 8 and 22, 2022 and January 5, 2023.

Library
Contracts for Brenda and Julia are attached for review and edits are available as an attachment. Brenda has a letter from Mass. Board of Library Commissioners confirming the Board of Trustees authority to create and sign a contract with library employees. MGL Ch. 78 Sec. 34.
Although Jack Mahan, from Amherst repaired the slate roof the week of July 15 to Saturday, July 23, he came out in November with his lift when we informed him it was still leaking. He spent the day caulking and waterproofing the hot spots, around the chimney, northside gutter system and the south ramp side door.
The library closed Friday, December 16 for repairs and will hopefully reopen on Tuesday February 14. The old carpet has been removed and will be replaced. Larger areas of damp plaster were removed this time and 3 other areas in the gallery on the south side of he building will be repaired. Servicemaster came in on Friday December 16 and was finished with demo and mitigation by Friday, December 30. BlueSky general contractors are scheduled for Tuesday, January 3.
Brenda has collected copies of the front and back of National Grid bills from previous years to submit for reimbursement from the insurance company. The November-December bill was over $900. for the library.
Library Annex
Meeting room policy has been emailed to key holders. All signature pages have been submitted.
We moved furniture and moved museum materials upstairs and the larger meeting room downstairs. The major use of the Annex is meeting rooms and this move will make easier accessibility for town organizations. Exterior motion lights are working great on the porch and driveway.
Matt Bansfield cleaned the gutters on both the buildings and will invoice us for half the amount. although he cleaned them on both buildings, we have not received an invoice.
