Monday, March 20, 6:30 p.m. Brad is the Liaison from the Board of Selectmen, Kaitlin Servant and has requested to be on our agenda for some clarity on the Fy24 budget we have submitted. Discussion followed with no notes taken due to lack of quorum for the Library Trustees.

Library
FY2024 Budget has been submitted to the Town Administrator. Annual Town Meeting is Thursday, June 1?
We have posted a part time position for a Library Assistant for Saturdays and 3 hours per week, a total of 6 hours per week. We have had 2 staff members resign during COVID and need to be replaced for assistance to current staff. We have 3 applicants and they will interview them during the first week of April. Update– both (2) applicants have withdrawn so we have reposted to MBLC to stay open until the position is filled.
Brenda has collected copies of the front and back of National Grid bills from previous years to submit for reimbursement from the insurance company. The November-December bill was over $900. for the library. Brenda reached out to Lee, the MIIA Insurance Adjuster and he said a report of the project is forthcoming. Brenda emailed Lee Z, MIIA insurance company on March 2, for recap information (still do not have it) and March 30 to fix blotchy paint.
CIPC list from 2021-2025 must be reviewed and updated for the March Department Head meeting.
Programs for the library have started up again; Knitting Club, Chess Club (students), and book discussion.
Library Annex
We moved furniture and moved museum materials upstairs and the larger meeting room to downstairs. The major use of the Annex is meeting rooms and this move will make easier accessibility for town organizations. Exterior motion lights are working great on the porch and driveway.
Matt Bansfield has submitted an invoice for cleaning of the gutters and other jobs as maintaining the water system in the Annex during the deep freeze (blow dryer on pipes, etc.). Computer updates for the library and the Annex.
