• PCF - Janine Domina, Admin Assistant, wage increase, 18.76 to 21.75
• PRF – Assistant Assessor, New Position
• PRF – Principal Assessor, modification of job duties
PCF Police
• PCF – Marisa Parmeggiani, FT Police Officer, 37.5 hrs/wk, Step 6 28.83/hr
• PCF – Scott Gove, Resignation effective 9/12/23
• PCF – Edward Hagelstein, Separation – employee never worked
. PRF - Shared Administrative Assistant, Police & Fire
Old Business
• Scoring for the New Position of Water Field Supervisor – hold until Collins Report
• Jon Lumbra, Select Board Liaison brought forward a request to the Select Board to request that the Collins Center prioritize the Water Field Supervisor position in their study. On 9/26/23 the Select Board voted not to request to prioritize the Water Field Supervisor Position.
• Follow up on Water Tech Agreement (PPPB did not accept agreement on 7/13/23)
The following were tabled for more thought on appropriate wording. (Attached)
• Work from home (allow working from home)
• 1:00 Town Hall closure Thanksgiving Eve & Christmas Eve for non-essential employees
Outside Town Department buildings (Library & Highway) will close at a half day schedule due to varying work hours which shall be at the discretion of the Department Head.
Additional items to be reviewed.
• Meal Reimbursement Policy
• Page 14 Add “Certificates and Licenses”
• Page 23 Grammar insure to ensure
• Page 24 & 25 Remove Finance (not part of process) change to Accountant
• Social Media Policy
Final review and vote to move items forward for public hearing (Attached) and set Public Hearing Date (posted 10 days prior to public meeting)
• Vacation leave (Change earned service equivalents, two – after 1 year, three after three years)
• Vacation Leave (Note: 90 day probation period has to be completed before Vacation leave is granted. Vacation days can be carried over to the next fiscal year in the event that the employee was unable to use vacation time due to hire date within the last 90 days of fiscal year.)
• Seeking Authorization to fill open positions (add wording Section 6 PRF “for newly created positions only”)
• Holidays (change coverage to PT Benefitted & FT, employees who work 20 hours or more hired on or before “approval date”)
• Probation (Clarify 90 day probation to be consistent with definition – 90 calendar days, Add see definition from Section F)
• Full Time Employee (Add note * Per Mass Retirement System, Full Time Equivalency is defined as a minimum of 35 hours/week for all purposes. All service that is less than 35 hours/week will be prorated against the full-time equivalency of 35 hours/week.)
• Sick Leave (Add “Sick days may be carried over to accumulate up to a maximum of 10 sick days per fiscal year. Sick days may be used during probation period)
• Personal Leave (Note: 90 day probation period has to be completed before Personal leave is granted. Personal days can be carried over to the next fiscal year in the event that the employee was unable to use personal time due to hire date within the last 90 days of fiscal year.)
• Add current PCF form and remove old form
• Remove page 75,76, 77
Calendar
• Schedule meeting for 2 Fire Department PCF’s that were not submitted timely for this agenda.
o Lawrence Felix, New Hire, FF/EMT-B 16.92 hr, as needed, P/T non-benefitted
o Dakota Pandolfini, New Hire, Probationary FF, as needed, 15.00/hr, P/T non benefitted
o Set Public Hearing Date for Rules and Regulations Changes.
