7:00 PM-Zoom Virtual Meeting
In accordance with the Governor’s Order Suspending Certain Provisions of the Open Meeting Law, G. L. c. 30A, § 20, relating to the 2020 novel Coronavirus outbreak emergency, the February 27, 2024 at 7:00 PM public meeting of the Norfolk Board of Health shall be physically closed to the public to avoid group congregation.
Alternative public access to this meeting shall be utilizing the Zoom virtual meeting software https://zoom.us for remote access. This application will allow users to view the meeting and send a comment or question to the Chair via the Chat function. Submitted text comments/questions may be read into the record at the appropriate points in the meeting if they are in line with the Town’s Public Comment Policy. The Meeting will be recorded for future rebroadcast by Norfolk Community Television

PUBLIC HEARINGS:
• 7:00 p.m. - 292 Main Street -Request for Local Upgrade Approvals for septic system upgrade w/ Eric Dickinson/CIVILized Solutions.:
1. Request to allow the setback to the well at 294 Main St to be 100.6’, rather than the required 125’.
2. Request to allow the setback to the well at 292 Main St to be 51.4, rather than the required 100’.
• 7:15 p.m. – 50 Mirror Lake Avenue-Request for Local Upgrade Approvals for septic system upgrade w/ Glossa Engineering:
1. Request to allow the leach bed to be less than 20’ (11’) from a foundation wall.
2. Request to allow the leach bed to be less than 10’ (4’) from a property line.
3. Request to allow the septic tank to be less than 10’ (7.8’) from a foundation wall.
4. Request to allow the soil absorption system to be designed and constructed without a percolation test as allowed by DEP policy.
