Meeting called to order for Wednesday, March 6, 2024.

Review and approve Stipend for Dan Hamilton for $1000, for time and equipment donated. Review and approve Stipend for Julia Taylor $2500. for cataloging, researching, cleaning and creating captions for items in the museum. We engage hours when the library is not open. We are using the Museum Archive software with the Nomenclature museum catalog provided by Dan Hamilton. Funds from the State Aid account, balance $19, 435.
Please note we did not add the following to our Agreement for the Key and Code holders of the Library Annex. A motion to add the following to the agreement;

Motion by
Brenda handed out new policies to look at for the April meeting. Homebound Delivery Service Policy and Volunteer application, Internet and Wireless Use Policy, Item Donation Policy, Land Acknowledgement, Request for Reconsideration Form.
The FY, Fiscal Year Budget for 2025 was due on Thursday, Feb. 1 and it was submitted (emailed) Tuesday, Jan. 30, 2024. Copies are available and Brenda
Brenda and Julia hired Samantha Taylor for 9 hours per week at $17.50/hour, she is on 3 month probation.
An incident at the Annex regarding ADA to be discussed.
Upcoming Library events:
Thursday, May 2 at 6:00 p.m. “ The Best Small Museums in Massachusetts. Peek inside the collections of some of the dozens of unique, esoteric and fascinating museums scattered across the state. Sponsored by the Art and Elizabeth Jay GWCF, Friends of the Library.
Miss Shanna will hold her “Preschool Program'' every Friday from 11:30am-12 noon. This event is funded by the Jeppson Grant, GWCF.
The Chess Club will meet every Friday from 3:30-4:30pm.
Library Annex:
Painting estimates are needed for FY25 budget, the barn and north side of the house need painting. Brenda is now beginning the process.
A request for an Article for improvements will be $25,000.
Brenda will be looking for estimates for bat removal in the Annex, several bats are hibernating in the attic. One estimate, $2800 to 3000. Other estimates are coming in.

Next meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, April 3,at 6:30 pm, at 2 Lincoln Street.
