Special Meeting – March 2, 2011

      I.  Call to Order
     II.  Joint informational Session 
          with the Orange Selectboard 
          and K-12 Regionalization 
          Committee on Consolidation/
          Regionalization progress to 
          date - The Mahar 
          Regionalization Committee, 
          in cooperation  with the 
          Orange School Committee and
          the Orange Selectboard, will
          hold a community 
          information session on  
          progress to date regarding
          consolidation and possible
          regionalization of the Orange
          Elementary, Petersham 
          Elementary and Mahar Regional
          School Districts.  The event
          will be held in the 
          Butterfield Auditorium at
          6:30 P.M.  The Butterfield 
          School is located at 
          94 South Main Street in 
          Orange. 

          There will be a half-hour 
          presentation of the 
          committee's work, approved
          progress and activities
          to date, with the remainder
          of the evening open to 
          questions from the audience. 
          The Superintendent for the
          three districts will be in 
          attendance, in collaboration
          with Ken Rocke, consultant
          to the Mahar Regionalization
          Committee and the 
          Massachusetts Association of
          Regional Schools.
