Deliberations for Licensed Marijuana Establishment Special Permit Modification application decision for The Blue Jay Botanicals, Inc. for property located at 946 Main Street (Map 31 Parcel 137); request is to add a Marijuana Delivery Courier service operator to the site of the approved Licensed Marijuana Retail Establishment, which has been operational since August 2021 as The Boston Garden marijuana retail dispensary. Public Hearing was closed on November 3, 2021 IV. 7:10pm Public Hearing, Major Site Plan Review for Uma Cultivation, LLC for property located at 706 Petersham Road (Map 46 Parcels 45 and 87); request is for construction of an additional 10,000 square-foot building, which would provide for a building footprint that would total 20,000 square feet. On December 2, 2020 Uma Cultivation. LLC was issued a Licensed Marijuana Establishment Special Permit for Marijuana Cultivation and Processing Establishment per the Licensed Marijuana Establishment provisions of Section 3.29 and a Minor Site Plan Approval for the construction of up to 10,000 square-feet of buildings for marijuana cultivation and manufacturing uses. Public Hearing continued from November 3, 2021. V. 7:30pm Public Hearing, Licensed Marijuana Establishment Special Permit Modification application for Elev8 Cannabis, LLC…for property located at 243 Main Street (Map 30 Parcel 296) request to increase the operating hours, per the amended Section 3.26.3.5, approved by Athol Town Meeting Voters on October 18, 2021. Section 3.26.3.5 states that “the hours of operation for marijuana retailers shall be established by the Special Permit Granting Authority, however in no event shall the hours exceed the hours of operation for the sale of alcoholic beverages not consumed on the premises in the Town of Athol consistent with all applicable Cannabis Control Commission regulations.” VI. 7:50pm Public Hearing, Flag Lot Special Permit application for William and Mary Marshall for property located at 4039 South Athol Road (Map 55 Parcel 17) VII. Review and Approval of Board of Planning and Community Development 2022 Meeting Dates VIII. Chapter 61A land, Oren F. North property located at 4287 South Athol Road (Parcel 055-004), review of request to remove 47.8 acres of land from Chapter 61A status IX. Anticipated Upcoming Meetings: Topics for next regular committee meeting date (Wednesday, January 5, 2022) discussed: public hearings for potential new permit applications and other topics planned for discussion. Board discussion on potential for alternative meeting location from Room #21 over the winter months (e.g. Virtual, via Zoom or at a larger meeting venue as needed). X. Adjournment |
