Town of Essex Planning Board Agenda – October 19, 2016

The Public Meeting of the Town of Essex Planning Board is to be held at the Essex Fire Station Meeting Room, 24 Martin Street, Essex, MA 01929 and will commence at 7:30 p.m.  

Building Inspector’s Report   

Board Discussion - The Essex Planning Board will hold a Public Hearing on Wednesday, November 2, 2016, at 8 PM at the Memorial Fire Station, 24 Martin Street, Essex MA, for six proposed Warrant Articles

Board Discussion & Vote – Review of the Special Permit Application and Plan submitted by the Board of Selectmen as the Essex Conomo Point Commission, for a Recreational Facility on land owned by the Town of Essex located at 138/153 Conomo Point Road and the immediate surrounding of 153 Conomo Point Road, Assessor’s Map 108, Lots 41 & 61,  for a small park, for public waterfront access and parking,  as required by Town of Essex Bylaws 6-3.4.2.b: Recreation facilities for other than home use, and Bylaw 6-10.1.3.b.2: Construction of structures in the resource area. If the Planning Board is satisfied the application is complete the Board will set and vote on a Public Hearing date. The Board will also vote on whether to approve the request by the applicants to waive the application fee.

Board Discussion – Recent meeting with Town Planner Matt Coogan regarding the research and drafting of a potential bylaw for a Downtown/Village Area Zoning District
