TOWN OF ESSEX PLANNING BOARD AGENDA – NOVEMBER 2, 2016 


The Public Meeting of the Town of Essex Planning Board is to be held at the Essex Fire Station Meeting Room, 24 Martin Street, Essex, MA 01929 and will commence at 7:30 p.m.  


BUILDING INSPECTOR’S REPORT

PUBLIC HEARING: Notice is hereby given that the Essex Planning Board will hold a Public Hearing on Wednesday, November 2, 2016, at 8 PM at the Memorial Fire Station, 24 Martin Street, Essex MA, for six proposed Warrant Articles: 1st Warrant Article: to replace the current definition of “SIGN” located in section 6-2.2 Definitions. 2nd Warrant Article: to replace the current parking requirements for RESIDENTIAL STRUCTURES located in 6-6.1.1 Table of Parking Requirements to read “Two parking spaces for each dwelling unit”. 3rd Warrant Article: To replace 6-6.3 Driveways.  Paragraph c. 4th and 5th Warrant Articles: To modify 6-10.3 Water Resource Protection Overlay District, 6th Warrant Article: To complete four minor scrivener edits within Chapter VI of the Bylaws.

BOARD DISCUSSION: Committee Updates from the Board Members who volunteer to serve on the Boards or Committees: Community Preservation Committee & Conomo Point Committee Update –Kim Drake, Strategic Planning Committee Update – Skip Crocker, Building Committee Update – Westley Burnham.
