| Agenda: | Essex Affordable Housing Trust Thursday, July 27, 2023 - 7:00 p.m. Second-Floor Conference Room, Town Hall, 30 Martin Street AGENDA • Approval of minutes from AHT meetings of April 25, May 30, and June 29, 2023. • Emphasis of Zoning Bylaw Review Project as Related to Affordable Housing o Affordable housing features of zoning bylaw (i.e. Accessory Dwelling Units and Inclusionary Zoning) not expected to receive high priority at this time. o Update from Planning Board Member Bradbury on any Planning Board ADU or Inclusionary Zoning bylaw discussions to date. o Can ADU use be limited to family occupancy and/or long-term rental versus allowing for short-term rental as well? • Grant for baseline housing demographics and related data. o Rural and Small Town Development Fund grant program. o Assistance from the Massachusetts Housing Partnership. o Study could lay groundwork for a Housing Production Plan and/or an Affirmative Fair Housing Marketing and Resident Selection Plan. • Items that were not apparent to the Chair at least 48 hours prior to the meeting posting deadline. |
