This meeting is being held remotely in accordance with the Governor of Massachusetts’ March 12, 2020 Order Suspending Certain Provisions of the Open Meeting Law G.L. c. 30A, Section 2 and an Act Relative to Extending Certain Covid-19 Measures Adopted During the State Of Emergency, Session Law – Acts of 2021 Chapter 20 (malegislature.gov) signed on June 16, 2021, meetings of the QRSD School Committee will be conducted via remote participation to the greatest extent possible.   The public is invited to attend School Committee meetings in person or in real time, via Zoom technology.

	Request for approval – College Fair Field trip to Franklin Pierce College in Rindge, NH on May 23, 2022
	Request for approval – Grade 8 trip to Washington, DC., April 2023
	Request for approval - French Cultural Exchange Program for the 2022-2023 school year with Lycée St. Joseph in Avignon, France – Elizabeth Beard-Blake, Alicia Frost, Josefina White – a vote will be required
	Request for approval to proceed with bid solicitation for a security camera system at the Middle-High School and Central Office that may result in a contract for hardware, software, installation and maintenance awarded for a period longer than three years – a vote will be required
	School Choice 2022-2023 – openings at most grade levels – a vote will be required
Motion to recommend that, in accordance with the state law requiring all school to be open for school choice, the Quabbin Regional School District accept school choice students for the 2022-2023 academic year in grade levels where space is available.  The administration will be cautious not to accept a number of choice students that would adversely affect District finances.
	Discussion of broadcasting of School Committee meetings online – a vote may be required
	Request for approval of change to 2022-2023 School Calendar – a vote will be required
o	Change in two early release days due to MCAS Testing

Pursuant to Governor Baker’s March 12, 2020 Order Suspending Certain Provisions of the Open Meeting Law, G.L. c. 30A, §18, https://www.mass.gov/doc/open-meeting-law-order-march-12-2020/download, and an Act Relative to Extending Certain Covid-19 Measures Adopted During the State Of Emergency, Session Law – Acts of 2021 Chapter 20 (malegislature.gov) signed on June 16, 2021, the meetings the meeting of the QRSD School Committee will be conducted via remote participation to the greatest extend possible.   In person attendance of members of the public will be permitted, but every effort will also be made to ensure that the public can adequately access the proceedings in real time, via Zoom technology.
